Many of us have grown tired of cell phone companies charging outrageous fees
for some of the simplest games and applications ever created. Sprint, for example,
charges roughly between $2.00 and $6.00 per game, and the download usually expires
after 60 days. On the high end of things, that's as much as $36.00 per year for a
sub-8-bit game.
In an effort to combat this, mobilemachines.org has compiled a small selection of
FREE Java-based games designed to work on your mobile device.
This may come as a shock, but FREE means that there is no charge. We're not
looking for an email address, a phone number, not even your name. Just download any of
the applications and run them until your heart is content.
Please feel free to distribute the website link as you see fit.
